this is a center pivot rod style chassis.  it has a
heavy duty polished aluminum chassis built to last.
The diff's PIVOT ON A BEARING ON EACH END ALLOWING
THEM TO MOVE INDEPENDENTLY. THIS MAKES THE Z-ROD A
VERY CAPABLE CRAWLER. IT IS VERY STABLE BUT RIDGED.
THE 4 SHOCK SUSPENSION AND STABILIZING LINKS ALLOW
YOU TO ADJUST THE ARTICULATION FOR GREATER
CONTROL. IT CAN BE ADJUSTED AS HIGH AS 90 DEGREES ON
EACH END AT THE SAME TIME OR AS LOW AS 60. THE
BATTERIES AND ELECTRONICS ARE MOUNTED ON THE
CENTER ROD TO MAKE IT EASIER TO WORK WITH. IT HAS 6
TO 7 INCHES OF GROUND CLEARANCE BETWEEN THE TIRES
AND CAN CRAWL UP STAIRS, UP YOUR COUCH OR OVER
MOST ANYTHING MOST CRAWLERS WILL HIT ON. AND YOU
CAN RUN A VARIETY OF BODIES WITHOUT CLEARANCE
PROBLEMS.
IT DOESN'T HAVE THE OVERALL MOVEMENT OR LOOK AS
THE Z-CRAWLER BUT IT CAN GET SOME CRAWLING DONE.

COMP-X CHASSIS PRICES STARTING AT 249.00
This is a new 4 link design made for the comp
crawler's that don't want to mess with making
special battery packs to add weight to the axles.
With battery plates that will hold a standard
battery pack mounted over each axle it allows to
add weight and balance the chassis without a lot
of work. Moving the upper links to the outside at
the axle allows it to articulate more with out
hitting the motor like on the standard 4 link and
also stabilizes the chassis. This is an all aluminum
chassis. The wheel base can be adjusted from 17
1/2" to 15" and can also be made to work in the 2.2
class.
